The Hungarian women's handball team can even advance from its group at the European Championships in Denmark if the world champion is knocked out of the Netherlands on Tuesday of the last round.
The match of the Hungarians on Tuesday will start at 20.30 in group C in Kolding, but then they will know the final result of the Croatian-Serbian match played from 18.15. If, to the great surprise, the Croatians with two victories win for the third time, the Hungarians will not reach the semi-finals unless they are out by 21 goals or more in the evening.
If the Croatian-Serbian match ends in a draw or a Serbian success, the Hungarian team must get at least one point to move on.
The top four finishers in the tournament will advance to next December’s World Cup in Spain, which will be hosted by the hosts as well as the defending Dutch.

The top three finishers in the groups advance to the semi-finals. In case of point identity, the result against each other decides in case of two teams, then the goal difference, in case of more than two teams a mini table decides.
