Tens of thousands of people were honoring Kobe Bryant's memory

Kobe Bryan, a former Olympic basketball player and former member of the North American Professional Basketball League (NBA), was honored in Los Angeles Monday afternoon with tens of thousands of people.

To commemorate the career of the athlete who died in a helicopter crash on January 26, his commemoration, with speeches and movie clips, was held at the Staples Center, one of the best-known sports halls in the United States. Twenty thousand people gathered in the hall, and thousands in front of the building were anxious and watched the celebration on the screen.

The event also commemorated Bryant's little girl, Gianna, 13, on the helicopter, and the other seven dead on board with them.

The salutation ceremony began with a film revealing episodes of Bryant's personal life and sports career, followed by Beyonce's singing. At the end of her ovation, she starred at the star singer, where Kobe Bryant's giant photo of the sports jersey was hung.

The "Celebration of the Life of Kobe and Gianna Bryant" was not coincidentally held on February 24. That was the request of the widow, Vanessa Bryant, who, for 20 years while a Los Angeles Lakers player, wore a jersey # 24.

The entire Lakers team, the NBA's stars, including LeBron James, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson, were present at the commemoration. The stars of the entertainment industry remembered the great sportsman with songs. Alicia Keys performed Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Christina Aguilera sang Ave Maria. Others recounted the sweet stories of their lives in their speeches.

Michael Jordan said tearfully, "when Kobe died, he died a part of my life." Rob Pelinka, manager of the Los Angeles Lakers and a longtime friend of Bryant, said, "on the day of the disaster, the world seems to have turned its axis, for all of us." Sabrina Ionesco, an Oregon basketball star - one of Bryant's high-profile assistants for women's basketball - remembered Gianna Bryant, who was called Gigin. "Gigi meant the future and Kobe knew it," he recalled.

The assembled people, laughing and tearing as they recounted episodes of Bryant's life. Tears from the widow, Vanessa Bryant, were also tearfully received.

Vanessa Bryant has been the wife of Kobe Bryant since 1999 and their four daughters were born. In her speech, she praised her devoted family life. "She was the most fantastic husband ... I had everything," she said crying. He also remembered their 13-year-old daughter who died in the accident. "God knew they couldn't be without each other on this earth. He had to bring them together," he said, and said to his deceased husband, "Baby, take care of our Gigink!".

At about the two-hour celebration Bryant's famous "Dear Basketball!" ended.
