Sydney-Hobart - Comanche wins, Hungarian ship closes in 21st place!

The former twice-winner and top-ranked Comanche won the 75th Sydney-Hobart Sailing Competition after finishing ahead of them by finishing one day, 18 hours, 30 minutes and 24 seconds on Saturday.

The longtime leader, also super-max InfoTrack, finished in second place and third place was nine-time champion Wild Oats XI, according to the tournament website.

Of the 157 ships at the start, the only Hungarian participant, Stay Calm Hungary, led by Áron Ormándlaki, finished Saturday evening and finished 21st in 2 days, 16 hours, 50 minutes, 29 seconds.

One of the most famous sea regattas traditionally made it to the 628 nautical mile (1161 km) between Sydney and the metropolis, the second oldest Australian city, the day after Christmas.

The race record is held by Comanche 1 day, 9 hours, 15 minutes, which was set at the 2017 win.
