Coronavirus - Premier League and NFL first infected healed

The first coronavirus infection in the Premier League and the American Football League (NFL) has recovered.

"I was completely healed. It was an average viral illness for me. It was three to four days harder when I struggled with fever and dry cough," said Mikel Arteta, head coach at Arsenal, who celebrated his 38th birthday on Thursday.

The Spanish coach was found infected on March 12, causing the Premier League to be suspended the next day. Arteta's wife also caught the disease, but she too has recovered by now, and their three children have remained healthy.

In the NFL, a head coach was also the first to be found to be directly involved in the pandemic. However, Sean Payton, a 56-year-old specialist who led the New Orleans Saints team, also recovered from the disease. Guard star director Drew Brees is helping the Louisiana state fight the coronavirus epidemic with $ 5 million.

French champion Paris Saint-Germain football club has launched a special edition jersey and the proceeds will help health care in Paris, which is involved in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic. The custom edition jersey reads "Tous Unis" instead of the capital's sponsor.

1,500 of the limited edition have been sold, so the club is helping the fight with more than 200,000 euros.
