The national team player told the public media on Monday: the league title crowned the entire season, which was "very intense and full of experiences" for them. He explained about the Spanish championship final, they were aware that their opponent was one of the best on the continent, and like them, they did not reach the final four in the Euroleague by chance.

"We suffered against them the whole season, they managed to beat us five times in a row, we couldn't find the antidote, how to beat them. This lasted until the semi-finals of the Euroleague, where we then managed to win. It was crucial in the final duel that we won the first match away from home, and the second one just barely slipped out of our hands, even though we dominated almost the entire match there as well. We won the third match easily, and after that we were ready to put the dot on the i, but we knew that it is always the most difficult." - he declared.

He added that he considers their success deserved just because they controlled 150 of the 160 playing minutes of the final and their will prevailed. He emphasized that it says everything about his team's spring performance that they have lost only two games since March, the second leg of the league final and the final of the Euroleague.

Hanga - who won the championship with Barcelona last year - expressed his gratitude for being accepted by the fans of his great rival.

"As a former Barcelona player, it must not have been easy for many Real fans to accept that I signed here, but they still waited with open arms, and this season I was able to show that I was not signed by chance," he said. He added: meeting the Catalans in the final was a particularly great experience for him, and although he didn't feel satisfied with the victory, it crossed his mind that maybe they made a mistake at his previous club when they let him go last year.

In the next few days, the basketball player will have to organize his trip home with his family, which he plans to take more than a week by car, with several stops along the way. Thus, they are expected to arrive in Hungary only at the end of the month. He emphasized: the national team will have matches on the first and fourth of July, but he does not yet know in what capacity he will be able to participate in them. He has to agree with the national team captain Stojan Ivkovics about what plans the specialist has for him. Hanga will not train in the next few days, and he does not consider it out of the question that he suffered a hamstring injury on Sunday.

"We will see in what condition I arrive at the national team, but I will definitely be there, and my participation in the European Championship is not in question," he concluded.
