Formula 1 - This year's race car was presented by the defending champion

Mercedes, who has won seven World Championship trophies in a row among designers, unveiled this year’s Formula 1 race car on Tuesday. The W12 coded model retained the black paint that was used for the first time last season.

At the time, Mercedes switched from the previous silver to black because it also wanted to signal its support and support for the fight against racism and equal opportunities. This issue was seen as important primarily by the British-based German stable for the role of Britain’s Lewis Hamilton, who won the seventh individual world title in 2020.

There is also only one seven-time world champion besides Hamilton, namely the legendary German Michael Schumacher, whose 20-year-old son Mick will make his debut in F1 this year.

Hamilton’s teammate will be Finland’s Valtteri Bottas, and the only pre-season official test will be held March 12-14 in Bahrain, where the first race of the record-breaking 23-race season will also be held on March 28th.
