F1 - Verstappen won in Brazil, Gasly came second

For 22-year-old Verstappen, this is his third and eighth win of his career this year. In second place was Pierre Gasly, the French pilot of Red Bull's account team Toro Rosso, his first podium in F1. Third, six-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) was shot down, but his position is in danger due to a collision, the jury is investigating. Max Verstappen, a Dutch Red Bull rider, won Sunday's Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix at which the two Ferrari collided and fell.

In his run, the two Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc collided and both were forced to give up the race.

The start was equally well received by the front runners, but perhaps Hamilton, who started in the third lap, was the best in this regard. While Verstappen held on to first place, the British world champion overtook Vettel in second position in the first corner.

In the fifth lap, Verstappen, Hamilton, and Vettel were in the podium order, with Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) starting in 14th place, climbing to eighth position.

Hamilton opened a series of wheel changes in lap 21, and Verstappen drove to the box one lap later for fresh tires. The Dutch pilot returned to the track behind the British world champion, but immediately took back the lead. In the 26th round, Vettel, who used a rubber strategy other than the first-place duo, was inside the box while Leclerc was third, even without a boxing stop.

Halfway through, Hamilton complained to team radio that it was very difficult to keep up with Verstappen ahead of him, and Leclerc got new tires for his car in lap 30 and returned to the track in sixth place.

Hamilton was in the box again in lap 44, and one lap later, he got the fresh tires at Verstappen and returned to the track in front of Hamilton.

Twenty laps before the fall, Verstappen, Hamilton, Vettel were still in the first three rounds, while Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) was forced to leave due to an engine failure. The Finnish pilot "parked" the race car from where it had to be lifted, so the jury sent the safety car to the track for rescue. During this period, with the exception of Hamilton, everyone at the level made another change of wheel, so behind Safety Car were Hamilton, Verstappen, Vettel, Alexander Albon (Red Bull), Leclerc in the order of the top five.

The safety car set off 12 laps before the end of the race, and although Hamilton tried his best to hold on to first place, Verstappen immediately overtook it while Albon came in third after passing Vettel.

A bit later, his teammate Leclerc attacked and overtook him, but the four-time World Cup winner immediately wanted to take back his position. In the next straight, Vettel was overtaking, but so close to his teammate's passing car, that the two Ferrari touched for a moment and both were defective. Vettel and Leclerc were both forced to end the race, and once again, the safety car became the "protagonist" due to the removal of tire debris.

Hamilton for the fresh tires rolled into the box, so the restart was Verstappen, Albon, Gasly, Hamilton in the first four order. The Safety Car let go of the field two laps before the fall, Hamilton immediately followed Gasly and began attacking Albon, but in one corner he collided with his rival's car, turning the Red Bull, a case still under investigation.

This year's World Cup concludes with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates in two weeks.
