Reactions after 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer announced on Thursday that he will retire after next week's Laver Cup.

The Wimbledon organizers - Federer won a record eight firsts here -:

"Roger, where do we begin? It has been an honor to witness your journey and see you become a champion in every sense of the word. We will miss seeing you grace our courses so much, but for now all we can say is thank you for the memories and joy you have brought so you have given to many people."
