Tennis: Nadal and Zverev in Quarterfinals Melbourne, Women Unveil New Champion

With the advancement of world-leading Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev, the men's quarter-finals at the Australian Open Tennis Championships have been completed.

The 19-time Grand Slam-winning Spanish player lost the set for the first time in this tournament, but eventually beat Nick Kyrgios in front of the home crowd in four games. He also took two acronyms and won the high-quality meeting in 3 hours 38 minutes.

Both players commemorated Kobe Bryant, the legendary basketball player who died on Sunday: Kyrgios entered the field in a No. 8 Los Angeles Lakers jersey, while Nadal sadly talked about an American athlete in a post-game interview.

The 2009 champion, Nadal, will be among the top eight at the Australian Open for the 12th time this time, with Dominic Thiem of Austria as his next opponent.

Zverev beat Russia's Andrei Rublev in three straight sets on Monday, ahead of Stan Wawrinka in the quarterfinals.

The 2016 women's winner, Angelique Kerber, said goodbye to a new women's champion in Melbourne Park this year. The German player remained in a close battle against Russian Anastasia Pavluchenko.
