A double German success was achieved on Sunday at the season opener of the World Series of Ski Jumping in Wisla, Poland.
Markus Eisenbichler finished in first place, while his compatriot Karl Geiger finished in second place. Third was Daniel Huber from Austria.
For the second time in his career since 2011, 29-year-old Eisenbichler has won an individual SME competition.
On Saturday, during the team competition, the Austrians proved to be the best, ahead of the Germans and the host Poles. Huber was the winner, Eisenbichler and Geiger were members of the runner-up team.
