Monterrey's Tennis Tournament - Muguruza and Azarenka win the final

The defending champion Garbine Muguruza and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka will win the finals in the $ 250,000 ($ 71.5 million) prize-winning Monterrey heavyweight tennis racket.

Last year's finals were beaten by the Spanish-born Magdalena Rybarikova, who was finishing with Tímea Babos last Saturday, while Azarenka, who was the first winner of the WTA, was the first ranked German Angelique Kerbert to say goodbye.

At their only meeting so far, Azarenka has been fighting Muguruza in the Battle of Miami in 2016.

Results, Semifinals:

--------------------

Azarenka (Belarusian, 5th) - Kerber (German, 1.) 6: 4, 4: 6, 6: 1

Muguruza (Spanish, 2nd.) - Rybarikova (Slovak, 8th) 6: 2, 6: 3
