Monte Carlo Tennis Tournament - Nadal, defending champion in semifinals

The defending champion, Rafael Nadal, finished the semi-finals with a $ 5.2 million (1.6 billion forints) pay-off at the Monte Carlo slalom men's tennis tournament.

The 11-time winner, the second highest-ranked Spanish player in Friday's quarter-finals won a tight and smooth set of Guido Pella in Argentina. Nadal's next opponent will be Italian Fabio Fognini.
