Kristóf Milák wrote history, Olympic champion on a 200-meter butterfly

World champion and world champion Kristóf Milák won a gold medal with an Olympic peak on a 200-meter butterfly on Wednesday at the Tokyo Olympic swimming competition. The other Hungarian starter of the song, Tamás Kenderesi, finished in fourth place.

The BHSE’s 21-year-old world class was already at the top of the top 50, despite the fact that South Africa’s Chad le Clos, London’s five-ring champion, started in the usual way. Milák fell to third place in the middle, but by the second hundred he gained a confident advantage as his immediate rivals began to get tired, while in Rio he competed with the usual tactics of the bronze medalist Kenderesi, .

In her hair, the only question was how long Milák would triumph, finally 1: 51.25 minutes, with the third-best result of all time to overthrow the legendary Michael Phelps at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Meanwhile, the bronze-medalist Kenderesi came up to fourth place in Rio, finally hitting the finish line with 1: 54.52 minutes, seven centuries behind the bronze medal.

"My pants were torn before the race, so I knew when I jumped in that there would be no world record. Even such a small trifle would completely tear a person out of focus. But I'm not disappointed, even tomorrow you can swim a world record in Kecskemét," said Milák he added, he still has work to do in Tokyo now because he wants to repeat his current success at 100 meters as well.

Although Milák did not appear to be completely satisfied, Kenderesi was expressly disappointed:

"The tactics were good. I was with him, if I pulled down Le Clos, I'll be a medalist. Although I did that, I still can't stand on the podium, that's why I'm very disappointed. Unfortunately I didn't see the others because they were swimming on the other side."

The athlete from Pécs also talked about the fact that his last three tempos had to be shortened a bit in order for the wall to come out well, and even that seven centuries could have passed.

Milák won the third medal of the Hungarian Olympic team, including his second gold in the Japanese capital.
