"It's good to see that even the biggest stars are happy to come to us, the István Gyulai Memorial has achieved in 11 years that it has the best in its calendar," the announcement quoted Péter Deutsch, the chairman of the organizing committee, as saying that the competition is a huge opportunity for the Hungarian for athletes, as it is a perfect opportunity for them to prepare for next year's domestic outdoor world championship.

Fraser-Pryce, 35, won Olympic gold in the classic gallop in 2008 and 2012, and last year she finished second to compatriot Elaine Thompson-Herah. The first three results in this year's ranking belong to him, he ran 10.67 seconds twice, which is a personal best, and 10.70 seconds once, making him the number one favorite for the World Cup in Eugene starting next week.

In 2019, Holloway ran his first professional race at the Gyulai Memorial, and later that year he won the World Cup, since then he has run the world record in 60 meters, and he finished in second place at the Tokyo Olympics.

Gardiner has become an indispensable figure in the men's 400 meters in recent years, triumphing at the 2019 World Championships in Doha and last summer's Games. In Székesfehérvár, however, he will start in the 200, in which he is also capable of a world-class result, his personal record is 19.75 seconds.

Polish hammer thrower Nowicki was for years somewhat in the shadow of his compatriot Pawel Fajdek, despite his 2018 European Championship title, but last year in the Japanese capital he won the gold medal with a result of 82.52 meters, and this year he is the best in the world with 81.58 meters.

At the 12th Gyulai István Memorial Athletics Hungarian Grand Prix, in addition to the stars just announced, classics such as the pole vault world record holder Armand Duplantis of Sweden or the record holder of the men's shot put, the American Ryan Crouser, will appear.
