American Dustin Johnson won the latest tournament of the most prestigious series of professional golfers (PGA Tour) in Norton, Massachusetts, returning to the top of the world rankings.
The overseas player delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, which is proven by nothing more than finishing 11 strokes in first place. According to the US news agency AP, a similar example was last seen in a match in 2006, when Phil Mickelson was 13th ahead of runner-up.
Johnson needed a total of 254 strokes to complete the four laps, which is 30 times better than the base stroke - only two were capable of such an exceptional production before him in the history of the circuit (Ernie Els in 2003 and Justin Thomas in 2017).
The PGA Tour celebrated the 22nd triumph of his old-new world first career.
