Crouser, Coleman and Holloway also excelled in the indoor world cup national team

The high odds secured a place in the Belgrade World Championships at the National Indoor Indoor Championships in March, which was also a World Cup national team.

In the race at Spokane, Olympic men’s weightlifting champion Ryan Crouser, perhaps the best performer, took over 22 meters with all four valid throws, winning the championship by 22.51 meters. The fact that Croatia's Filip Mihaljević has led the world rankings by 21.84 meters tells a lot about Crouser's result.

Due to a doping case at the Tokyo Olympics, Christian Coleman, the world record for the 60-meter cross-country race (6.34 seconds), was not there, returning in great form after the omission and confidently winning a gold medal, setting his first time at Terrence Jones in Bahamas with a 6.45-second result.

Grant Holloway, the world record holder (7.29 seconds), once again left no doubt as to who is the best in the number: the Olympic silver medalist in the 110 hurdles won 7.37 seconds, two centuries behind his own world leader. Holloway has not lost a race on 60 hurdles since 2014, with a tower-high chance to travel to the Serbian capital.

In women’s 60 hurdles, defending champion Gabbi Cunningham won with a 7.82-second individual peak, finishing fourth in the world rankings. The race against the hurdles was relatively smooth, with Cunningham overtaking the second Alaysha Johnson nine centuries, but the 60-meter flat race was decided in a fierce battle. In the last track, Mikiah Brisco won the gold medal in 7.07 seconds, a century behind Marybeth Sant Price.
