At the end of the year, Boris Becker, who has been the manager of the men's field for more than three years, will leave the German Tennis Association (DTB).
The three-time Wimbledon champion specialist said he was very happy to do the job, but from now on he will not be able to perform the duties associated with the post due to lack of time.
Beckert was appointed head of the men’s department in August 2017. DTB said he will be replaced by Davis Cup captain Michael Kohlmann.
