UEFA to Decide on BL, El and European Championship Qualifiers in Days

The two club series were interrupted in the eighth finals in March, and are currently scheduled to end in August in one city. According to the AP, the duels would be one-matched from the quarter-finals, with Lisbon in the BL and Frankfurt in the El as the odds-winning director. The former was originally the venue for the final in Istanbul, the latter in Gdansk.

The qualifying series for next season is expected to start earlier than the current season ends. And the start of the fall group tour is likely to slip from mid-September to October.

Next week's UEFA meeting may also decide whether all 12 planned host cities will take on the role of host in the continental battle. Budapest will host three group matches and an eighth final, but according to an earlier announcement from the Hungarian federation, it is ready to hold further meetings if there is a step back from the organizing venues.

There will also be a place in the competition calendar for the European Championship qualifiers that were missed in March, in which the Hungarian national team is also involved. Their new date could be October. The Hungarians start as a guest of Bulgaria, and then the winner of the duel will now receive the winner of the Icelandic-Romanian match for their participation in the European Championships.

For the national teams, the second season of the League of Nations would have started in September and the World Cup qualifiers next March, which could extend to the qualifiers until June 2022. The Qatari World Cup, on the other hand, will start in that year only in November.
