The management of Tottenham Hotspur, one of the leading teams of the Premier League, offered 90 million euros to the Italian Internazionale in order to transfer its Argentine striker Lautaro Martínez to the London football club, Sportitalia reported on Friday.
The 24-year-old attacker has been playing for Milan since 2018, and his valid contract ties him to Inter until the summer of 2026. Martínez won the Italian championship with his current team last year, and this year he was able to lift the cup and the super cup.
He has been a member of the Argentine national team for four years, so far he has appeared in the national team 38 times and scored 20 goals, while he scored 74 times in 180 matches at Inter. Looking at the last club season, he helped his team with 25 goals and four assists in 49 appearances.
Transfermarkt, the benchmark in football market affairs, estimates Martínez's current value at 75 million euros.
