There are plenty of question marks even in the Premier League

In the longest-running Premier League season of all time, 353 days after FC Liverpool and Norwich City kicked off the series on August 9 last year, all that was decided was that they became champions again after thirty years, with the latter eliminated and Manchester City second. lock. Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City are fighting for the remaining two Champions League starts, and the latter two are clashing.

Leicester City expected a very favorable position to restart after a break of more than three months, but won only two of their eight matches, so in the end it starts the last round from the worst position as it has fallen back to fifth place. Nevertheless, his fate remained in his own hands: if he defeats his direct rival at home, he could start in the BL in the autumn, because that way he would definitely be ahead of Manchester United. In the event of a tie, however, he already needs help, in which case he can overtake Chelsea with a better goal difference if he is knocked out by his guest, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Red Devils took the exact opposite path as Leicester City: after a weak start, the team had been unbeaten in twenty betting matches, meaning they hadn’t been knocked out since the relaunch. MU can also hope for a defeat, because if Chelsea are also knocked out, the latter will lag behind BL.

“This is a final,” described Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, MU’s Norwegian head coach, for the match awaiting them. And his colleague Brendan Rodgers found a poker analogy, "all in," meaning they put everything up for this one clash.

Chelsea also can’t expect an easy match, as the final round for Wolverhampton is no stakes for the Europa League. The capitals are already securing their BL appearances with a tie, but will only remain in a BL-worthy position if Leicester City is knocked out by Manchester United. The rival is currently in sixth place for an El performance, but is only one point ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, who will play as a guest of Crystal Palace with seven defeats in the series. The Wolves will retain their sixth position if they score at least as many points as last year’s BL finalists in London. Seventh place is basically not worth a European Cup appearance, but if Chelsea beat Arsenal in the FA Cup final on August 1st, the seventh could also start in the number two cup series.

Although two dropouts are still "free", for which there are three chances, the situation is still simpler than in the race for the BL start. Bournemouth can only stay at the forefront if it collects three points in Everton’s home, while Aston Villa and Watford are knocked out as guests of West Ham United and Arsenal, respectively. In that case, Bournemouth would outperform both rivals by a better goal difference. The race between Aston Villa and Watford, on the other hand, is extremely close, and one will definitely say goodbye. Watford can overtake Aston Villa if he scores more points than the Birmingham Guard or wins by two goals more than his rival.
