The Reds beat the Foxes smoothly

Defending champions Liverpool defeated Leicester City 3-0 in the ninth round of the English Football Championship in Sunday City Day.

The home side took the lead in the 21st minute after Jonny Evans' own goal, the difference being doubled by Diogo Jota in the 41st minute. The final score was set in 86 minutes by Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool have had their sixth success in the PL season and have maintained their unbeatenness in the last five rounds. Leicester were down for the third time in the league season, with the team again missing three points after three wins.
