The hero of the World Cup final continues in the Netherlands

Once considered one of the best midfielders in the world, Bayern Munich blew up a bank for it, but it was ruined by Guardiola’s rotation system. Since then, he has been a shadow of himself, now in the Netherlands trying to build himself.

Mario Götze, who won the 2014 World Cup with the German national team, will continue his career on the PSV Eindhoven football team.

The 28-year-old attacker has signed a two-year contract, the Dutch club said. Götze has not had a team since July because Borussia Dortmund did not extend with him.

The 63-time national team player scored the only goal of the 2014 World Cup final: he was replaced in the 88th minute and found the Argentine goal in the 113th minute. The footballer, who can also be used as a winger, offensive midfielder and striker, played in Germany only in Borussia Dortmund as well as Bayern Munich.

PSV is in second place in the Dutch league after four rounds.
