PL - Former coach of Szoboszlai is in charge of Leeds United

Jesse Marsch, an American who previously ran Salzburg and RB Leipzig, has been appointed head coach by the Leeds United football team.

According to the club's announcement on Monday, a contract was signed with the coach until June 2025, who started this season with the Leipzig players, but due to poor results, the German band employing three Hungarian players, Dominic Szoboszlai, Péter Gulácsi and Willi Orban, fired him in December.

The 48-year-old worked for the Montreal Impact, the New York Red Bulls and Salzburg before the Bundesliga, where Szoboszlai was also a player.

Marsch will make his debut for Leicester City on Saturday at the Leeds bench.

His predecessor, Marcelo Bielsa of Argentina, had to leave because the team was only 16th in the table after 27 rounds.
