For the eighth time, Robert Lewandowski, the Bayern Munich striker, was selected as Poland's best football player of the year.
The attacker was rewarded on Sunday evening after leading the way in voting for Pilka Nozna magazine.
The 31-year-old won the ballot seven times between 2011 and 2017, with goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski winning last year.
"Acknowledgments not only show me that the work pays off, but also encourage me to work harder. Thank you to all my supporters, I'm stronger for you!" wrote Lewandowski on Instagram, who scored 48 goals in Bayern in 489 games in 2019 and became the Bundesliga top scorer.
