The Hungarian national football team won 3-1 as a guest of Bulgaria in Thursday's semi-finals of the European Championship qualifiers, so it only has to win one match for its participation in the European Championships.
Federal captain Marco Rossi replaced the missing Dominik Szoboszlai with Zsolt Kalmár, who played in the DAC, who gave a goal pass to Willi Orbán from a corner in the 17th minute and then from a free kick in the 47th minute. The game was decided by substitution headers Nikolics Nemanja in the 75th minute, the final result was set by Georgij Jomov in his hair. At the meeting, the Italian manager also inaugurated a rookie by replacing Nego Loic.
After 45 years, the Hungarians defeated the Bulgarian team again, and after 63 years they managed to outdo abroad.
The national band will host Iceland for the European Championships at the Puskás Arena on November 12, but before that, on Sunday, Serbia will be a guest of the League of Nations in Belgrade and next Wednesday in Moscow.
