According to the calculations of the International Football Association (FIFA), it will pay 209 million dollars (92.12 billion forints) as compensation to the clubs that provide players for the World Cup in Qatar, which starts on November 20.
According to FIFA's announcement on Tuesday, $10,000 per day per player was calculated in the fund specifically set aside for this purpose, and the payment will take into account the national team's official World Cup preparation period, which begins on November 14. Furthermore, every club can claim this amount , in which the player has appeared in the last two years.
The compensation system was introduced for the 2010 World Cup, as a result of the background work of the European Football Clubs' Association (ECA), which is a major player in the sport. Before the World Cup in Russia, FIFA distributed compensation of a similar size, which affected 416 clubs of its 63 member confederations.
