Eight days after his brain surgery, Maradona was able to leave the hospital

According to local television channels, the world champion footballer was transported by ambulance from the Olivos Clinic in Buneos Aires, and his personal doctor, Leopoldo Luque, said he had given permission to leave. The 60-year-old star’s lawyer, Matias Morla, then informed the public that Maradona would continue to recover in a house close to her older daughter and would continue to receive treatment for her alcohol dependence.

According to the lawyer, Maradona was probably in the most difficult situation so far when he was operated on because his life was at stake, and now he needs his family and doctors to help him through this period.

“The situation is simple, you need peace of mind among your family, your relatives, who need to treat each other with respect, coordinate their visits because Diego needs to get up,” Morla said after specifically asking Maradona’s family and friends not to send each other negative messages on social media platforms because it has a bad effect on Maradona.

The world champion footballer, who has had serious health problems for many years, was admitted to a private clinic last Monday due to depression, where he was also diagnosed with anemia and dehydration. He was then told he needed three days of hydration, but he was not in an emergency and could leave the hospital at any time, but had to undergo surgery on Tuesday due to intracranial haemorrhage.

The intervention was performed at another clinic, and at first it seemed the former national captain of the Argentine national team could return home last Thursday, but his own doctor did not allow it because the footballer had severe withdrawal symptoms due to his alcohol dependence. And another doctor, Alfredo Cahe, said Maradona needs treatment to stop drinking because her whole family agrees she is currently untreatable and has problems with her liver, heart and vascular system.
