BL qualifier - Vidi FC won the tie with a draw

Vidi FC made a 1-1 draw as Greece's AEK Athena and lost 3-2 with the final match of the Champions League qualifiers so he could continue playing in the European League Group in autumn.

Vidi FC could not wait for the Athenian win in a favorable situation, as AEK Athens could win 2-1 in the first match of the match in Budapest. Before the breakthrough, both teammates were able to win their trophy and move forward, though Marko Nikolic's squad had to be at least two goals better than the Greek champion.

Attila Fiola, who was still in the right hand with Athis, came in for a small tie. Contrary to him, Szabolcs Huszti, who was the first in the first match, could not play the same way as Taszosz Bakaszetasz, who scored the second goal of the Greeks.

In the first quarter of this year, the Bianconeri fully respected their instructor's instructions that he did not have to resort to success in the first place, since the Greeks mostly attacked and formed positions before Ádám Kovácsik's gate. The counterattack by Anel Hadzic resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by Danko Lazovic in the center of the opposition's keeper Vaszilisz Barkasz.

After half an hour, the goalkeeper of Vidi FC needed to show more defense in a row, while the Bianconeri made great strides for the goal. Before the break, Marko Livaja's twenty-meter-long bomb dropped centimeters away from the guest gate.

At the beginning of the second half, AEK came closer to the Champions League, as Petros Mantalos was confidently awarded the Fiola Attila penalty for his foul. Vidi FC did not despair and could even have equalized with Kosztasz Galanopoulos at his own goal. What did not happen then, a few minutes later, the 57th minute came to an end: with Danko Lazovic's great escape, Loic Nego stepped out and calmly raised the Greek goal.

The Székesfehérvárians did not stop and remained in attack. The distant attempt of the Belarussian goal scorer, then Marko Scepovic, was also a good bet. Before the Vidi FC, hope for victory was sparked by the Polish referee Hélder Lopest. The Hungarian champion struggled desperately for the last few seconds but did not score another goal.

AEK Athens was the last in the 2006/07 season in the BL Group.
