BL - Bayern progressed, Barca survived, Salah set a record

Thanks to Robert Lewandowski's two goals, FC Barcelona preserved its chance to reach the round of 16 in the soccer Champions League, after it drew 3-3 at home with Italian Internazionale on the fourth round of the group stage on Wednesday.

In the first half, Barcelona was more proactive, but the first really big chance was created by the visiting Italians, when Edin Dzeko hit the crossbar after a free kick. The home field dominance reached the goal in the 40th minute, when the French Ousmane Dembélé hit the goal from close range at the end of a nice attack.

After the break, Inter equalized almost immediately with Nicolo Barella's goal, and then Lautaro Martinez turned the game around with a goal from the back of the net. Drifting to the brink of elimination, the Catalans persistently attacked for the equalizer, which was achieved with a 15-meter shot by the Polish Lewandowski in the first half. However, this was not the end of the twists and turns: at first, with the goal of the German national team Robin Gosens in the penultimate minute, it seemed that Inter would eliminate Barca, but with Lewandowski's second goal, the Spaniards were saved for the time being.

Barcelona and Inter also face Bayern Munich and Viktoria Plzen in the remaining two rounds, and the Catalans can only progress if they have at least four points more than Milan.

In the other match of the four, Bayern Munich decided the away match against Viktoria Plzen of the Czech Republic in one half, and with their success they reached the round of 16.

In Group A, Liverpool won 7-1 at home to Scottish Rangers, with Egypt's Mohamed Szalah, who was substituted in the 68th minute, scoring the fastest hat-trick in Champions League history between the 76th and 81st minutes.
