Bayern Munich knocked out Dominik Szoboszlai in the third round of the Champions League group stage. The Bavarians did not dominate so much in the first half, they could not force their will on the home team, so Salzburg was still on the equal footing with the defending champion at the beginning of the second half. In the sequel, however, the Bavarians changed rhythm and eventually knocked out Salzburg, which also changed structure, which spectacularly did not lie to Dominik Szoboszlai either.
The Hungarian national team midfielder played through the clash against the Bavarians, but in the second half he seemed to be out of the field, he completely disappeared, even though he was the leader of his team in the first half. The Austrians ran out to the end again, the Bavarians scattered them thoroughly and finally pulled in the match 6-2. Bayern won the BL for the 14th time in a row and is leading the group with confidence. Salzburg has scored one point so far, placing it in fourth place.
In Group B, Real Madrid defeated Romelu Lukaku without Internazionale 3-2 in an exciting match, winning for the first time in the current competition. Halfway through the group stage, the Italians are still undefeated and stand in last place with two points. Defender Sergio Ramos scored the 100th goal in Real Madrid, headed fifty-fifth.
In Group C, the two teams most likely to advance - Manchester City and Porto - both held all three points at home with a 3-0 win over the Greek Olympics and the French Marseille.
In Group D, Ajax, who is heavily reserve due to the coronavirus epidemic, drove to the home of Midtjylland in Denmark as early as the 1st minute and eventually won 2-1. In the other clash, last year’s winner Liverpool struck a big beating for Atalanta in Bergamo: the English, led by Portuguese Diogo Jota, who scored a hat-trick, scored five goals for the Italian team. Liverpool’s Jürgen Klopp won his first BL match in Italy after five defeats as head coach.
