At the end of the season, Pál Dárdai leaves the leadership position of Hertha

At the end of the season, Pál Dárdai, head coach of Hertha BSC's football team, leaves his post. The Berlin club said in a statement on Tuesday that it had been agreed with the Hungarian specialist.

The former Hungarian national team captain has been in charge of Herth since February 2015, a player between 1997 and 2011. His team, which has lost in the last five rounds, has five rounds before the end of the championship in the 11th Bundesliga.

"I spent very intense and eventful years as head coach of Hertha BSC. I am grateful for the opportunity and I am proud of what we have achieved together during this period. There is sometimes a time for change. I always wanted the best for Hertha the club is still my home and it remains "- quoted Daddait on the website.

Michael Preetz, director of sports, said Pál Dárdai not only became a player, but also a leader at Hertha over the past four and a half years.

"The professional world has four and a half years, otherwise a very good and constructive collaborative work, a long time. Now we agreed that the right next step for Hertha BSC is to give the new impulse. our club has been moving in a positive direction, and the dominant personality of the Hertha family will remain due to the senior team leader of the adult team, "he added.

Under the leadership of the 43-year-old Hungarian trainer, the team won 63 victories at 167 matches with 40 draws and 64 defeats. Dardai is the second longest-running trainer behind Christian Streich in Freiburg, currently in Bundesliga.

After holding the Berlin team at the forefront in the first season, he became the seventh in the 2015/16 season to join the Europe League. In the next season, Hertha finished sixth in the next season, so he immediately became a member of the European League. The previous season ended with a tenth in the Berlin team, which traditionally played a prominent role in Dardai's hand in the fall of the point hunt. This was the case in the current season, when Hertha was for a long time at the beginning of the midfield, but in the spring the hoped-for results did not come.

The Hungarian trainer has a special contract of indefinite duration at Hertha, so if he changes to a professional team, he can return to the recruitment.
