According to a press release, Jerome Boateng, the German league and Champions League defending champion Bayern Munich, is sure to leave this summer.
The magazine Kicker wrote that the club will not renew its contract with the 32-year-old defender, who will leave the association after ten years. According to the magazine, Boateng's manager has already been informed that the services of the 76-fold German national team will no longer be required.
The defender confirmed from Manchester City to Munich in the summer of 2011, where he was able to triple in 2013 and last year, meaning he won the German Cup with the team in addition to the championship and the Champions League. Boateng was a key member of the German national team at the 2014 World Cup, also entering the final 1-0 against Argentina.
Federal Captain Joachim Löw announced in March 2019 that he would no longer count on Boateng and Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels in the national team.
