Tom Brady started with a defeat

He defeated his new team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the colors of six-time champion manager Tom Brady, in the first round of the 2020 season of the Overseas Professional American Football League (NFL).

The six-time champion star with the New England Patriots started the season as a guest of the New Orleans Saints, a hallmark of Drew Brees, and his team lost 34-23 due to his two ball sales, among other things.

Already in the first half the Saints did better, the home team led 17-7, and the match was actually decided after the first attack in the third quarter: at that time the Buccaneers had the ball, in the sixth game Brady's pass was caught by defender Janoris Jenkins and he ran back with it to the guests ’destination area, and after 7-24, the Floridaers no longer had a chance. In the game, Brady passed 239 yards and had 2 touchdowns in addition to two ball sales, while Brees closed on the other side with 160 yards and two TD passes.

While Brady suffered, his old team, the Patriots, started the season with a confident victory led by new manager Cam Newton. The Bostonians beat the visiting Miami 21-11 with Newton passing 155 yards and running a touchdown.

Super Bowl winner Kansas City got off to a good start on Thursday, with the San Francisco 49ers underperforming in the February grand final on Sunday, while the National Conference (NFC) champion opened with an unexpected defeat. The Californians, moreover, got a 10-0 advantage from the Arizona Cardinals on their own course, with manager Kyler Murray throwing 230 yards and running 91. The Cardinals ’biggest spring achievement, Houston-swapped catcher DeAndre Hopkins, caught 14 passes, making a total of 151 yards.

Green Bay, who lost in the January NFC Finals, defeated big rival Minnesota Vikings 43-34 away away in a spectacular, enjoyable meeting. The away manager, Aaron Rodgers, played in an inspired form, ending the clash with 364 passing yards and four TD passes.

Last year’s regular season winner Baltimore Ravens rolled out, driving his manager Lamar Jackson (275 yards, 3 TD passes) to knock out the Cleveland Browns, starting his 16th season in a row with a defeat.
