The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the overseas professional American Football League (NFL) grand final, the 55th Super Bowl: they defeated defending champion Kansas City Chiefs 31-9.

The first attacks ended early on both sides, with the Chiefs finally scoring the first points thanks to a field goal (0-3). Tampa responded quickly, with Rob Gronkowski receiving a touchdown pass from Brady (7-3) at the end of a 75-yard attack series. The host could have increased his advantage soon after, reaching all the way to the Chiefs goal line, but he was unable to force the ball into the goal area after four attempts.

The Chiefs attack line, led by Patrick Mahomes, was unable to move, and after a spoiled punt, the Buccaneers could come from an excellent field position. The Kansas City defense was well defended, but in the field goal attempt the special unit made a big mistake - they jumped in prematurely - so Brady could come again after the penalty, giving Gronkowski a touchdown pass again (14-3).

Kansas could only respond with one field goal (14-6) and Brady had a minute to attack back before the end of the half. The Chiefs defenders again committed several fouls, allowing Tampa to eventually come from a yard, with Brady handing Antonio Brown his third TD pass (21-6).

From the first attack in the second half, the Chiefs kicked another field goal (21-9), but Tampa responded immediately, Leonard Fournette scored another touchdown with a 27-yard run (28-9). Mahomes wanted to get out of the distressed situation in the next attack, but he sold the ball and Tampa made it to the field again (31-9).

At the beginning of the closing quarter, the Chiefs were left without points again at the end of a long attack, allowing Tampa to comfortably keep the score.

Brady was chosen as the most valuable player of the match, for the fifth time in his career.
