The Cavs can thank their wingman for their important success against Boston

The Boston Celtics, second in the main group in the East, lost after overtime to the fourth-ranked Cleveland Cavaliers at home on Monday's game day of the North American professional basketball championship (NBA).

The home team was still 14 points behind at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but Lamar Stevens, who played only nine seconds until then, came off the bench and helped his team to the translation with eight rebounds - including six extremely valuable attackers - and the same number of points, including a three-pointer sunk in overtime.

Donovan Mitchell was the best of the home team, who won their seventh overtime game of the season, with 40 points, while Evan Mobley added 25 points and 16 rebounds. Jaylen Brown finished with 32 points and Malcolm Brogdon finished with 24 points for Boston - which lost in overtime for the second time in 24 hours, losing to the New York Knicks in double overtime on Sunday. By the way, the Celtics didn't book their accommodation in Cleveland until 2:30 a.m. on the day of the game.

In the Portland Trail Blazers, Damien Lillard achieved his second triple-double of the season and the third of his career with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists in a win over the Detroit Pistons in just three quarters.

The Sacramento Kings won their sixth game in their seventh game since the All-Star Game, this time against the New Orleans Pelicans, thanks primarily to Domantas Sabonis, who had his eighth triple-double of the season with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. In this regard, only the Serbian Nikola Jokic, who won his third MVP title in a row, and the Slovenian Luka Doncic are ahead of the son of the Lithuanian legend Arvydas Sabonis, who is the best in the NBA with 52 double-doubles.

In the highest-scoring match of the day, the Philadelphia 76ers won 147-143 at the home of the Indiana Pacers. The home team shot 58.9 percent from the field, the visitors 58.5 percent, six of the Pacers and seven of the 76ers reached 10 points. In Philadelphia, Joel Embiid scored 42 points, while James Harden had 20(!) assists along with one turnover.
