NFL - Philadelphia and Tennessee were last in the playoffs

The Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles were last in the playoffs in the final round of the North American Professional American Football League (NFL) regular season.

There was only one place left in both main groups, which the Titans and last year's Eagles had the biggest chance of competing for, as the two teams didn't have to look for another match but to win their own. The former won confidently as a guest of the Houston Texans, who lacked the best, while the latter beat the much weaker New York Giants on the home run.

The closing sensation came from the Miami Dolphins, who defeated defending New England Patriots, who lost their second highlight with the defeat and the success of the Kansas City Chiefs, making the first round of the playoffs.

In addition to the two qualifiers, there was also the question of a first place finish in the National Major Group, held by the San Francisco 49ers in a fierce fight as a guest of their rival, the Seattle Seahawks, who also made the playoffs.

There was no shortage of milestones either. The league's best 14-2 draw, the Baltimore Ravens, which went smoothly against the Pittsburgh Steelers without their best, broke the record for yards by 3296. The Patriots have held the peak so far since 1978 with 3165 yards. Carolina Panthers runner-up Christian McCaffrey has become the third player in NFL history to run and catch at least 1,000 yards per season for Roger Craig and Marshall Faulk. McCaffrey's 2392 yards totaled power for third place behind Chris Johnson and Faulk.
