The defending champion Golden State Warriors were 23 points behind at the end of the first half, but in the end they easily defeated the visiting Portland Trail Blazers by 18 points on the last game day of the North American professional basketball championship (NBA).
The Portlanders led 63-40 at the end of the second quarter, but the Warriors turned it around in the next 12 minutes and could have expected the final quarter with a four-point lead.
Six of the defending champions finished with double-digit scores.
Serbian Nikola Jokic, who was elected the most valuable player in the previous two regular seasons, led the Denver Nuggets to success in Houston with his 100th triple double of his career.
