NBA - Defeated its ancient rival the Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers won 114-112 against the Boston Celtics on Sunday's North American Basketball League (NBA) game.

The Lakers and then the Celtics were leading the way in the all-out meeting. With 30 seconds left before the home side, LeBron James again took the lead with a sumptuous two-point lead, defending well and finally winning by two points.

With 43 wins and 12 defeats, the California team played well this time around, with James scoring 29 points, 9 assists and eight rebounds, while Anthony Davis finished with 32 points and 13 rebounds.

Jayson Tatum was the lead in the Eastern Division's third Boston (39 wins / 17 defeats) in the absence of Kemba Walker, setting a career-high 41 points, but he also made a mistake in his run.

The winner of the game day was the Milwaukee Bucks, even though he was not on the pitch. With 48 wins and 8 defeats, the league's first team made it to the playoffs on Sunday after the Ninth Washington Wizards lost to the Chicago Bulls.

Just one week after the All Star weekend, the Bucks secured a place in the knockout stage, 55 days before the playoffs.

"Enjoy this Sunday, Bucks jockeys! Getting to the earliest playoff in NBA history. Not even March," wrote Alex Lasry, Milwaukee's first vice president on Twitter.
