After a year and a half of absence, one of the NBA’s biggest stars has returned

The NBA preseason kicked off over the weekend, with most teams now introducing themselves. So it is with the Brooklyn Nets, who also started preparing on the field with their star player Kevin Durant. Durant returned after a year and a half of absence and seems to have done well in his long rehabilitation.

Kevin Durant, one of the biggest stars of the North American basketball league, played again after a year and a half on Sunday and made a good comeback.

The two-time champion striker spent 24 minutes on the parquet in his preseason match against his team, the Brooklyn Nets Washington Wizards, in which he closed with 15 points, three rebounds and three assists.

“It’s a great feeling to get back to the usual things, to be on the field again, to feel like I’m a player again,” Durant said after the game his band won. - "I didn't play really well, but I had good moments."

The 32-year-old basketball player, still in the colors of the Warriors, suffered an Achilles tendon rupture in the fifth game of the 2019 Grand Final, followed by surgery and long rehabilitation. Meanwhile, he qualified for the Brooklyn Nets in the summer of 2019, in which he played his first match now.

Kevin Durant is clearly one of the most prominent players in the recent and present NBA. The basketball player was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2013/14 regular season, and he was also the MVP of the 2017 and 2018 finals, in addition to being a ten-time All Star national team, four times the NBA points king, and in his first year he was also awarded the title of League Rookie.
